Can I revert to the old Siri after installing Siri AI?

Yes, you can. You might want to do this if some of the things old Siri did well for you don't work properly in Siri AI yet. On the whole, I've fouhd the early version of Siri AI to be pretty good but there are some big gaps in its capabilities and mail is an area in which it is very poor.

To revert to classic Siri, go to Settings / Siri and turn off Siri using the button at the end of Siri Settings. You will need to confirm this. Next, turn Siri on again using the button at the top of Siri settings. Select Use Siri Classic on the screen that appears and then follow any further steps that appear.

If you want to be able to summon Siri with a Hey Siri or Siri wake phrase then you will probably need to turn this back on and retrain Siri by speaking a few training phrases on request. This process is much easier for visually impaired people if VoiceOver is turned on since VoiceOver will speak the phrases for you to repeat. Otherwise you will need to read the phrases on your phone screen and this can be impossible if large text is being used.
