To forward a text message, the individual text message must first be located in the Messages app. Open the Messages app.
Next check which messages screen you are viewing. If there is an Edit button at top left of the screen you are viewing the conversation list but if there is a back button at top left of the screen you are viewing an individual conversation.
If you are viewing the conversation list then you will need to swipe right to find the conversation that contains the message. You will hear a person's name and the most recent message to or from that person. Double tap to open the whole conversation with that person and swipe right to locate the individual message that is to be forwarded.
If you are already viewing an individual conversation, locate the back button at top left and you can hear the name of the person or organisation involved in the conversation by swiping right once. If that's the conversation you want, swipe right until you locate the message you want to forward. If it wasn't the conversation you wanted, use the back button to return to the conversation list and locate and double tap the conversation you want and then swipe right to locate the message to be forwarded.
When VoiceOver has begun to speak the message you want to forward swipe up until you hear "more" and double tap. This will automatically select the message and bring up a delete button and a forward button at bottom left and right of the screen, respectively.
Explore by sliding a finger near bottom right of the screen for the forward button and double tap.
You will hear "too, text field, is editing". Swipe right and you will hear "add contact, button". Double tap to reveal your list of contacts. You will find the usual section index at extreme right of the screen. Swipe down to the letter you require and then swipe right to find the contact and then double tap. If there is only one way of sending text messages to your recipient, you will now be back at the "to, text field" and you can either add more recipients or swipe right a few times to locate the send button and double tap to send the forwarded message.
However, some of your contacts may have messages set up so that they can be messaged using an email address as well as phone numbers. If this is the case, you will be presented with a choice and you will need to swipe through the choices and select. I suggest that you swipe to find the mobile phone number and then double tap to select it. You will now be back at the "To, text field", where you can add additional recipients if you wish. When you are ready to send the message, swipe right a few times to find the send button and double tap to send the forwarded message.
