Introduction for visually impaired iPhone uers

Visually impaired iPhone users who aren't already familiar with VoiceOver or Zoom may need help in order to set up some of the features described in this website.  Setup instructions are given in the relevant sections.

These pages are currently tested on an iPhone 17 Pro. Everything should be very similar on other iPhone models running the current version of iOS. All iPhone X , iPhone 11 and later models have no home button and can use facial recognition for security. These phones are described as iPhones with FaceID. Some readers will be using earlier iPhones or any iPhone SE, which all have a circular home button at the bottom of the screen and can use fingerprint recognition for security. These are described as iPhones with TouchID. This website still covers both iPhones with and without home buttons.
