Vista Digital Dynamos Zoom session notes

Introduction

The first set of links are to the slides that I used mainly as presenter notes during my COVID-19 lockdown Tech Talk and Tea Zoom presentations for Vista during 2020 and 2021. Some of the presentations have been repeated and updated more recently. I wouldn't normally put so much detail on presentation slides but since these were one-off sessions I needed notes to keep me from straying.  I hope that they are of some use to learners who attended the sessions and also to those who were unable to attend.  The slides are also published in Keynote format on my Resources for Trainers web page. Those versions of the slides may be downloaded to your device in Keynote, PDF or PowerPoint format.

The slides below can be read continuously by VoiceOver with a two finger swipe down. Pause and resume with a two finger tap. When paused, if you want to go back or forward a little, swipe left to go back a little or swipe right to go forward a little, then continuous reading can be resumed with a 2 finger swipe down. Each slide will begin with a heading which will be spoken, followed by the word "heading". More advanced readers can set the rotor to headings and swipe down with one finger to skip forward from slide to slide and swipe up with one finger to return to previous slides.

My slides are followed by a link to notes from a session offered by Balwant Riyait in May 2021 on Voice Control and there will no doubt be others to follow from various presenters.

Apple themed Vista All Things Apple Zoom sessions continue as monthly group discussions, usually on the first Monday of every month at 11am UK time.  There is usually the option to meet in person at Vista's Leicester, UK offices. The talk ranges far and wide. I circulate invitations to the meetings and summaries of the discussions via my mailing lists for learners and trainers. Please email me at brian.negus@googlemail.com if you would like to be placed on either my learners or trainers list.
