VoiceOver offers visually impaired users several alternative methods for entering text, including dictation, handwriting, a standard on-screen QWERTY keyboard and an on-screen Braille keyboard. It is also possible to use an external QWERTY keyboard and external Braille keyboards and Braille keyboards with Braille displays. These input methods can be used in any combination. The details follow below but I don't cover external Braille keyboards and displays since I don't currently use these devices.
